Beautiful statue of the Buddha of Compassion, Guan Yin sometimes known as Kwan Yin or Avalokita. She holds her right hand up in the gesture of peace, and in her left hand she holds a vase containing nectar that is said to relieve all the problems of the world. Many Chinese Qigong practioners who are not Buddhist have statues of the Buddha and Guan Yin as it is good Feng Shui, helping to balance the mind and body and invite positive energy into the home. Works well as pair with seated Buddha.
